MIA IGNAZIO - FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER
PHOTOGRAPHER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Mia Ignazio will be a May 2026 graduate of Syracuse University's School of Visual and Preforming Arts - Art Photography program with a milestone in Fashion & Beauty Communications from the esteemed Newhouse School. Mia prides herself on creating dynamic fashion and conceptual imagery.
Born in 2004 in Massachusetts, she currently lives in both Boston and Syracuse, New York.
With a wide experience of photographing fashion editorials, documentary, and life style images Mia uses her wide background to enhance her practice. Mia has experience in fine art printing and archival processes analog and digital.
Mia has worked as a Director of Photography for two award winning publications, Moody Magazine and ZIPPED Magazine.
She is one of four female founders of Matchbox Films, Syracuse University’s first independent, student-run film house. As Director of Art and Design, Mia has led a talented team of creatives—from makeup artists to set designers, across two short films. She also served as Director of Photography for ACE, the Salt City Film Festival’s recipient of “Best Narrative Film.”
